Located in the Geumsan Industrial District of Waegwan, Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, the company operates on a 3,030㎡ site with an 819.1㎡ production facility. Since the completion of its factory in June 2000, the company began producing somyeon (thin wheat noodles), exporting its entire output to Japan—a market known for its strict quality standards.

As domestic interest in premium-quality somyeon grew, the company expanded its business and began supplying its products within Korea starting in 2004. This marked the beginning of its efforts to introduce high-quality noodles to both domestic and international consumers.

To strengthen product innovation, the company established an industry–academia cooperation agreement with Daegu Haany University’s Department of Korean Medicine Food, Culinary, and Nutrition. Through this partnership, the company has taken part in joint research and development consortium projects focused on creating functional noodle products.

The first major achievement of this collaboration was the development and patent registration of green tea somyeon, produced using wild green tea harvested from Jirisan’s Hwagae region. This product allows consumers to enjoy a new level of quality and flavor in traditional noodles.

The second milestone was another patented product: functional noodles enriched with black rice. With the implementation of the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system in its production process, the company has reinforced its commitment to delivering products of consistent and reliable quality.

In recognition of its craftsmanship and local value, the company’s products have also been selected as a Chilgok County specialty and are sold through Post Office Shopping, operated by the Korea Postal Service Agency.

Committed to continuous innovation, the company plans to further research and develop new varieties of somyeon, aiming to meet evolving consumer preferences and contribute to the advancement of Korea’s noodle industry.
